Hello! I am SO GLAD I found this board! I was starting to feel like an outsider on the 'normal' boards and was thinking about just dropping the Knot all-together. (Some of those boards can be very intimidating and well, rude) It's nice to know there are other's out there with the same vision as I and that aren't afraid to show their true colors to the world!

It seems that this board is the closest to my theme. Not gothic at all by traditional definition, but the uniqueness found here is certainly appropriate!

Wedding Theme and/or Setting: We'll officially be a part of the Games festival. Kilts, definitely! Incorporating as much Scottish tradition as possible. Outdoors. Staying small for budget purposes, but with a public ceremony for a big festive feel!
Wedding Colors: simple purple/ivory backdrops and details to offset the wild Scottish tartans!
Your Favorite Wedding Detail or Idea: Getting the groom involved by celebrating our shared Scottish heritage! I can't wait to see him in a kilt...

We are both getting black titanium but mine has a diagonal princess cut diamond in a tension setting) (3 the cake!! My mom is making a big stacked square cake made with fun-fetti batter and white frosting with red m&ms pressed into the frosting as a border!!) (4 my personalized red chucks I'm wearing under my dress. FI is kinda short so i can't wear heels so i figured we would wear matching chucks!)

Wedding Theme and/or Setting: Vintage-Gothic. Outdoor ceremony at sunset, probably indoor reception since Florida weather is unpredictable. If there's no chance of rain or anything, maybe outdoor reception with lots of laterns. Music will be mostly classic rock, industrial, and house.
